Jie Ren

I am an associate professor at the School of Computer Science at the Shaanxi Normal University. I am also a member of the New Network Intelligent Information Service of National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center at Northwest University (2017年获ACM西安优秀博士论文奖，2022年入选陕西高校青年杰出人才支持计划，2024年入选陕西省青年科技新星，2024年获ACM西安新星奖).

My primary research focus involves leveraging machine learning techniques to unlock the capabilities of mobile computing. Specifically, I aim to enhance the runtime energy efficiency of diverse mobile intelligent applications, including but not limited to mobile super-resolution, mobile web, mobile augmented reality (AR), and mobile natural language processing (NLP).
